In his own words: I’ve been part of the furniture here for 25 quality years, so I must like it. But then who wouldn’t like getting paid to create nice stuff all day! Before that, I freelanced for a friend in her gorgeous old farmhouse – partly to teach her how to use a computer for design. It was an interesting challenge, considering that I had no idea myself. Thankfully, I’ve become a bit more competent since.
In my spare time, I’m obsessed with fine press. If you’re scratching your head at that, it’s rare and beautiful handmade books, impeccably designed and printed onto beautiful hand and mould-made papers by master craftspeople via the antiquated process of letterpress. So I’m not completely unrefined!
